How We Protect and Manage Your Account Data

Every data-handling practice at w3c is designed to give you meaningful control while keeping your account secure.

Encrypted Data Storage

All personal records — including your name, email, and payment references from UPI or Paytm — are stored using AES-256 encryption at rest. Only authorised personnel with a documented need can access them, and access is logged.

Cookie Controls

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can review and withdraw cookie consent at any time from the Cookie Preferences panel in your account settings without affecting your ability to log in.

Account Security Practices

Two-step verification is available for all accounts. We also monitor login attempts for unusual patterns — such as access from a new device or location — and notify you by email so you can confirm or flag the attempt immediately.

Data Retention Schedule

We keep active account data for as long as your account is open. Once you request deletion, personal records are removed within 30 days except where local law requires us to retain transaction logs for a defined audit period.

Your Rights Over Your Data

Depending on your jurisdiction under Indian law, you may have the right to access, correct, port or request deletion of your personal data. Submit a request through our in-account form and we will confirm receipt and next steps within one business day.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We share data only with payment processors (such as the UPI and PhonePe networks), identity verification partners and fraud-detection services that are contractually bound to use your data solely for the stated purpose and not retain it beyond that use.

We collect your name, email address, date of birth, and contact number at registration. When you make a deposit via UPI, Paytm or PhonePe, we store a tokenised payment reference — never your full credentials or wallet PIN.

Personal profile data is deleted within 30 days of a confirmed closure request. Transaction records may be retained for a longer period where Indian financial regulations require audit trails, after which they are permanently removed from our systems.

Yes. Log in, go to Settings, and submit a data access request from the Privacy section. We will compile your records and deliver them to your registered email address within 10 business days of receiving the request.

We share data only with payment processors like UPI network partners and PhonePe, identity verification providers, and fraud-detection services. Each partner is contractually restricted to processing your data only for the specific purpose we engaged them for.
